made in manhattan

I just finished my first exam of finals season, and I'm taking time to kick back a little before the next one. I figure I could clean up around the apartment, maybe polish off a few blog posts that haven't quite coalesced into a making-sense whole. And then....Best. News. Ever. This karmic realignment just might make up for the 6-5. May the Lord have mercy on your soul, fair Wildcat fan.

Also, credit where credit's due...Bill put me on to the ultimate "where the hell was I when this went down?" image:

That one was obviously done by a Miami fan. Jimmy Ray found one that obviously wasn't:

Debate!

But anyways, damn...scary accurate. And yes, if there's one thing that might spur a more exhaustive compilation than my college football/rapper post, it's definitely college football and "The Simpsons." My hip-hop knowledge is a mere grain to the vast oceanfront that represents my Simpsons quotology.

And since our representative is the probably-gay one, I of course have to take a few issues with it. First off, the Bee Guy is too perfect for Georgia Tech, but I'd say their fans are more Professor Frink than those of Duke, whose Cameron Crazies bear more of a resemblance to Martin Prince with a splash of Milhouse. And while I appreciate Smithers rocking a bowtie and traditional Cavalier garb as opposed to a cheap-ass orange T-shirt, I'm thinking that Sideshow Bob is more apropos for Virginia. Groundskeeper Willie seems like a better fit for NC State. Sideshow Bob is immensely impressed with his own wit and verbal acuity, derisive of buzzcut Alabamians, involved with Republican politics and constantly failing at the one meager goal he sets out to do. If that's not UVA, what is?

Cheer up, Bob...with Prince gone, we can leave 7-5 games to the lacrosse team.
